I would like to give a huge Thank you to Máirtín Ó Muilleoir, Connla McCann and the rest of the Aisling Events team for a wonderful evening at the Belfast International Homecoming 2021, and to my hosts for the evening at Ulster Bank Accelerator, Belfast.
The highlight of the evening was listening to Pekka Timonen, Mayor of the EU’s 2021 Green Capital Lahti, Finland, who made his first visit to the city. He explained how Lahti had become a city of “Doers”, taking the idea of being green and actually making it happen with every citizen playing their small part to make a big impact.
